Birthday Giveaway!!!

28

Today is the big day!  I can’t believe I’m freaking 32 years old.  It seems just like yesterday I was 31.

Sorry.  That was really bad.

I’ve seriously thought for months and months about what I wanted to give away for my birthday.  And still up until last night I had no idea what I was going to do.  I figured the movies I’d give out would be too girlie for the male readers here.  The books I’d give out or music would probably be the same, so I just decided to do something that would be totally and universally accepted by everyone.

C.  A.  S.  H.

That’s right.  I’m giving away a $25 Amazon gift card.  My friend Andrea sent me an email about another blog giving away a basket full of her favorite  things.  That’s kind of what I’m doing.  Amazon is absolutely and unfortunately one of my very favorite things.

So is cash.

So here are the rules:

  1. You have to answer the question at the end of the post.
  2. You have to do it before midnight on Friday, June 15.
  3. That’s it.

I like to make things simple.  The winner will be picked at random Saturday and will be announced on Monday’s blog post.  Seriously.  It’s that stinking easy.  So are you ready to get to it?

If money weren’t an object, what would you purchase from amazon.com?

Please copy and paste the link so we can all see!!!

About the author

  • I love using my Kindle to buy free books! Of course that doesn’t involve money. I totally don’t want to buy clothes because I worry about sizes. Movies and music, eh whatever. Furniture!

And sofas, chairs, dining tables, etc.

    • I agree. No clothes. Everything else is on the table!

Ummm…I would buy whatever I felt like without any guilt. It’s not often that I get to shop and do that!

    • Me either! I’d have a really hard time deciding!

  • If money were no factor I’d have a Concept2 rower and a heavy bag set up. Also a wide screen tv. Can you make the gift card for 2000 instead?

    • I’ll see what I can do! Um, no. Sorry. Thank you!!

  • Happy birthday also!

Happy Birthday sweet friend! If money was not a factor, I would buy baby stuff 🙂 Lots and lots of baby stuff!

    • Thank you! You know, I just found out a person could have a baby registry on Amazon. How fun is that?! You should do that. Maybe then money won’t be an object because it’s not your money 😉

  • Jeremylail

Happy Birthday! If money were no object I wouldn’t have time to buy anything from Amazon, because I would be off to see the world! Wooo Whooo!!! Party time!!! No seriously, I would buy camping stuff, lots of camping stuff.

    • You can always access it through your phone! Unfortunately I do that, too. It’s seriously an addiction! Camping stuff sounds fun! As long as I have indoor bathroom facilities!!! 🙂

Happy birthday Julie! Do they sell houses on amazon??? Um maybe a new computer. Or some new cardinal gear.

    • You may be able to buy a house on Amazon someday soon. If that’s the case, I hope I can corner the market in Fairfield. 😉 You get bonus points for the new computer but negative points for the Cards. lol

  • Book Kathy

To me, Amazon means books! I like my Kindle a lot, but I really like using the Kindle app on the iPad. If money were no object, I would just constantly be adding books to the Kindle library!

    • I LOVE my Kindle! I recommend the next time you can splurge that much to purchase it!!

  • Amy_book

    Happiest of days to you!!!
Do they sell plane tickets?? Or travel packages?? If not those then definitely shoes…I love shoes 🙂

    • Thank you! I’d say you’ll have to stick with shoes though 😉

  • Happy Happy Birthday! I am so glad to have come to know you in the past year! I really miss working out with you! You are an inspiration to all around you! At least I can read your blog and pretend I am talking with you in person! Don’t really know what I’d want to buy but if money was no object I would live at least part time in Mahomet near my grandchildren and buy them more things than I already do! They are so much fun!! Have a wonderful birthday week!!

    • I’m so glad to have gotten to know you, too! I miss you bootcamp girls!!! You definitely need to spoil the grandkids! I agree completely 🙂

  • There are a LOT of things (camera stuff, of course) I would like to have, but if money truly wasn’t an object, I’m pretty sure I would buy the Monarch of the Glen: Complete Collection DVD set that I’ve had on my Wish List for over a year and just can’t justify buying. LOVED that show. Would love to be able to watch it whenever I wanted. 🙂 And THEN I would buy more camera gear.

    • Camera stuff is good stuff. Have you seen the photo contest at Bel Kai for $150 gift card? Thought we might want to try for that 🙂

  • aem

A Kindle Fire, a Kindle ereader, several books I may never get around to reading, some herbamare, some snacks, some strange-sounding foods, and maybe a new washer and dryer… for starters! 🙂

    • That sounds like a fun list…except the washer and dryer!

I know I missed out on the prize, but I’m catching up right now. This is what I would buy.

This or a similar product is on my “Some day in the office” list.

    • That looks interesting. What does it do? By the way, I love the new siding!!

It’s a physical therapy modality that can decrease healing time and reduce inflammation. Thanks! I can’t wait to see everything completely finished.
