10 Books I’d Like To Read This Summer

MindyI enjoy reading.  It’s much more convenient with the Kindle on my phone, my iPad and my Kindle itself.  No more lugging around a couple of books.  I’ve got a hundred in my Kindle library either already read, or waiting to be read.  Here are 10 I’d like to read over the summer.

1. Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me by Mindy Kaling
2.  Chasing Francis by Ian M. Cron
3.  Start by Jon Acuff
4.  The Catalyst Leader by Brad Lomenick
5.  7:  An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess by Jen Hatmaker
6.  31 Days to Clean – Having a Martha house in a Mary Way by Sarah Mae
7.  Bread & Wine:  A Love Letter to Life Around the Table With Recipes by Shauna Niequist
8.  Freefall to Fly:  A Breathtaking Journey Toward A Life of Meaning by Rebekah Lyons
9.  Do The Work by Steven Pressfield
10.  Girls With Swords by Lisa Bevere
Fortunately I already have all of these on my Kindle, so I won’t have to spend a ton of money to get busy reading this summer.  Any other suggestions?

About the author

  • 7 is on my to be read list as well. I have been wondering about 1, so I would love to know what you think about it.

    • I will. Herschel said it’s no Bossypants, but it’s entertaining 😉

      • I haven’t read Bossypants either, so I won’t be disappointed about that. 🙂

      • I’m halfway through. It’s fantastic.

So many books, so little time! I’m thinking it’s time to dig through my “to read” pile — digital and print.

    • Right?! I think it’s always time to make a list 🙂

        Word. 🙂

I need to read 7. (Not #7 on your list!) 🙂 Wanna loan it? I’m already working in that direction…I think it would inspire me to get back on track.
